Mediterranean Summer Wedding in Aphrodite's Garden

Is there anywhere more romantic for a wedding than a venue dedicated to the goddess of love and beauty? This magical Mediterranean summer wedding took place at the appropriately named Aphrodite Hills, a breathtaking resort on Cyprus that Coveted Luxury Events and Love4Weddings transformed into a romantic bower filled with colorful flowers, glowing lights, and welcoming details for guests from around the world! A celebratory summer palette added bold color with pink, orange, and blue – from the whimsical flower arrangements dreamed up by Coveted Luxury Events to the flower patterned invites designed by Redgrass Invitations and Stationery. The sweet stationery design popped up through the day, from paper goods in the invitation suite, signage, and the adorable banner carried by the flower girls and ring bearers!

Gift baskets welcomed guests to the destination wedding with pampering treats from Sugar and Spice.

The airy off the shoulder lace wedding dress by Adam Zohar added elegant bohemian style! The tiered skirt in a delicate point d’esprit was perfect for the Mediterranean heat, creating a breezy and semi-sheer effect mixed with classic bridal style.

How cute are these little attendants! The ample lawns and flower gardens at Aphrodite Hills gave the flower girls and ring bearers plenty of space to play once their ceremony duties were done.

Coveted Luxury Event created a colorful statement with the flowers – coral peonies, orange ranunculus, blush garden roses, lilacs, and delicate dahlias added bursts of color and texture to the garland marking the ceremony tree, the bride’s bouquet, and her beautiful flower crown!

This intimate reception had the feeling of a garden party, with a Grecian palette of white and blue thanks to crisp linen and colored glassware. Summer flowers filled the vintage silver compotes and climbed up the backs of the bride and groom’s chairs, while illustrated versions adorned the china and embroidered ones climbed the tablecloth.

Yiamy created these jewel-like desserts to give guests an assortment of dainty delicacies in addition to the beautiful pink cake topped with elaborate sugar flowers!

The sun setting over the sea around Cyprus amped up the magical feeling of this enchanting island – while the sky began to dim, stands of twinkle lights hanging from the trees and candles in floating jars turned the reception into an enchanted space.
